» My DVDs have arrived from America and there's some really bad-looking films there. There's nothing worse than buying a bunch of films and then putting one in and watching the trailers at the start and seeing some of the other films advertised. It's really put me off watching them! Anyway here's two films I watched in my day off yesterday.

» I'm making a very conscious effort to get this site up and running a little more regularly now that I'm paying Google a bit of cash every month to pimp my site around on their ads! If I'm to improve my fan base then I need to give the people what they want - more crap like The Gingerdead Man, Snakehead Terror and Bug Buster. I've splashed out the cash on some promising Region 1 DVDs. When I mean promising, I mean enjoyably silly stuff like Maneater (about a killer lion), Blood Monkey (self-explanatory) and Army of the Dead (no witty comment to make). Long live trash cinema!

» Another small update this week. I've got a few reviews in the works so I'll try and get some more up on Thursday/Friday of this week. I've got a backlog of about 70 films to review so it's not like I'm spoilt for choice.

» Finally I'm back with some new reviews. It's been ages since I last did any and with all of the Christmas stuff going on at work and doing some silly hours due to a shortage of staff, I've not had the time to watch films and when I have, the last thing on my mind has been to sit down and write a review. In all honesty I haven't watched a great deal of horrors since the last batch of reviews but now that 2008 is in swing, the releases are starting to flow, the TV schedules are full of obscure films that they couldn't get away with showing over Christmas and I'm able to watch a backlog of stuff I've been waiting to see since October.
